Hotel Information
We are at the San Diego Marriott in La Jolla at 4240 La Jolla Village Drive. Exit either I-5 and head east or I-805 and head west. The hotel is roughly one mile from each interstate on the north side of La Jolla Village Drive. You can contact the hotel at 858-587-1414.
If you are staying at the hotel, when you arrive you will see signs to the self parking garage on your right. Get your parking ticket from the machine and present it at the front desk when you check in and they will charge our special rate of $12 a day to your bill.
If you are just parking for the day and not overnight, take your ticket to the front desk for verification that you are with the F-8 group and they will validate the recuded $8 charge.
LACB check-in begins at noon, Wednesday, September 26 in the hotel lobby just beyond the hotel check-in. Our volunteer ladies will be there to greet you, check you in and give you your packet from noon until five on Wednesday and from nine until five on Thursday. If you arrive outside of those hours, proceed to the ready room in the Presidential Suite and check in with Mary.
The ready room is located in the Presidential Suite and that is where we hope you will spend a lot of your time hanging out and re-connecting with old friends. When you enter the elevator, just press the Presidential Suite button and you are there.
There are many restaurants located within easy walking distance of the hotel, including an abundance in Westfield UTC mall. We urge you to take a stroll and enjoy what the area has to offer. Of course, you may dine in the hotel if you prefer.

Alert: If you are going to the airshow on Friday, make sure you pick up your check-in packet no later than Thursday evening. It contains your wrist bands and airshow tickets and you must have these items to board the bus and to enter the chalet compound at Miramar. So, please pick up your packet to ensure your admission.
